Student Placements

ROCK offers student placements in various disciplines, including clinical psychology, occupational therapy, social work, family therapy, and early childhood education. Through practicum and doctoral residency opportunities, students gain valuable clinical experience working with a child and adolescent mental health population in a community setting.


Doctoral Residency Program in Clinical Psychology

ROCK’S Clinical Psychology Residency program is accredited by the Canadian Psychological Association, (141 Laurier Avenue West, Suite 702, Ottawa, Ontario, K1P 5J3: cpa.ca), currently through to the 2023/2024 academic year.

ROCK is a member of APPIC and participates in the APPIC Match. All application materials should be submitted to APPIC by the application deadline of November 1, 2022.

Psychology Practicum Placements

ROCK offers Intervention and Assessment Practicum Placements for Ph.D. level Psychology students. Applications are due by February 1, 2023. Consistent with the GTA Practicum Consortium, notification day will occur on March 22, 2023.
