Even the rain couldn't stop everyone from coming out to the third annual ROCK n RIDE in support of children's mental health.  Participants enjoyed a Poker Run Ride which included a stop at Boston Pizza in Milton.  During the stop riders were able to have a chance to win a new motorcycle helmet, courtesy of Stoney Creek Choppers, by tossing toonies while they enjoyed some fresh hot pizza.

The ride culminated at ROCK's Head Office in time for some refreshments and a BBQ all organized by volunteers and some very supportive family members.  Participants and volunteers alike enjoyed the sounds of John Mamone's solo acoustic performance.

During the day, the Kilbride Volunteer Firefighters (Rob Mozer & Alex Dorevich) arrived in their 1937 fire truck to the delight of some of the kids, who were also busy with the crafts table that was setup by OEYC Mobile (Leigh Gonder).  Everyone was able to receive a "tattoo" sticker from the Big Kahuna and could watch as Artist Bert Jackson worked on an original painted depicting the activities on site. Daniella Aitken from Century 21 came out to give ROCK  her support and didn't let the rain dampen her generosity by donating 1,000 Air Miles and raised close to $400.00 from her office.

Special thanks and a "ROCK" presentation were given to Sherry Mackinnon for her dedication and commitment to the event.

On behalf of Fast and Friendly Towing and their staff and Desiree Lapierre, General Manager, Mark Green presented a cheque to Ron Rodgers, ROCK  Executive Director, in the amount of $500.00.

A special thank you goes out to all of the riders, but especially the members of the motorcycle riding club, The Stolen Souls, without their dedication and hard work the ROCK n RIDE would not be possible.
